Are you a seasoned Chief Engineer with a knack for technical management of Bulk Carriers ?
This is an exceptional chance to transition your valuable seagoing expertise into a challenging and rewarding shore-based role, overseeing the technical operations of a modern fleet of Bulk Carrier vessels.
�� What We're Looking For:
Chief Engineer (CoC): Must hold a valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency from either the Indian DG Shipping (CDC) or the UK MCA (CDC).
Sea Experience: Minimum of 6 - 12 months + of sailing experience as Chief Engineer on Bulk Carrier Vessels.
Shore Experience: At least 3-8 year of proven shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent, specifically managing Bulk Carrier vessels.
Bulk Carrier Expertise is KEY! You should have hands-on experience with:
Cranes & Grabs: Operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Dry Docks: Planning, execution, and supervision of dry-docking projects.
New Build Projects: Involvement in the supervision and technical aspects of new vessel constructions.
Vessel Takeover: Experience in the technical aspects of taking over new or existing vessels.
🚢 Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Overseeing the technical management, maintenance, and performance of assigned Bulk Carrier vessels.
Planning and executing dry-dockings, repairs, and major overhauls within budget and timelines.
Ensuring vessels comply with all international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, etc.) and class requirements.
Managing budgets for vessel maintenance, repairs, and spares.
Providing technical support and guidance to onboard Chief Engineers and crew.
Liaising with classification societies, flag states, and third-party vendors.
